We do not offer buyer or seller protections and are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.

3. User Accounts

To post or interact with certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of our terms or any suspicious activity.

4. User Content and Conduct

Users may post content including but not limited to text, images, prices, contact information, and location. You are solely responsible for all content you submit.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform to harass or threaten others.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to collect information or post listings.
  • Distribute spam, unsolicited messages, or fraudulent offers.

We may, at our discretion, remove any content or suspend access if it violates our terms or is reported by others.

5. Prohibited Items and Services

CityShopping.us prohibits listings that violate U.S. law or our internal policies. These include but are not limited to:

  • Drugs, drug paraphernalia, or controlled substances
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives
  • Human trafficking, sex services, or escort services
  • Counterfeit goods or pirated software
  • Stolen property or unlawfully obtained goods
  • Hazardous materials
  • Multi-level marketing schemes, scams, or pyramid schemes
  • Animals (in some jurisdictions)
  • Job listings requiring upfront payments

6. Fees and Paid Services

Most listings are free to post. However, we may offer optional paid services such as:

  • Featured placement
  • Bump to top of list
  • Extended visibility
  • Banner ads or sponsored listings

Paid services are subject to additional terms and are non-refundable, except where required by law.

All fees are listed in U.S. Dollars and may be subject to taxes.

7. Transactions and Risk

CityShopping.us does not broker, endorse, guarantee, or insure any transaction between users. You engage in transactions at your own risk.

We recommend the following:

  • Meet in public, well-lit places.
  • Bring a friend to in-person meetings.
  • Inspect goods before paying.
  • Avoid prepayments via wire, gift cards, or cryptocurrency.

We are not liable for any loss, damage, or fraud arising from user interactions.

8. Intellectual Property

All site content (excluding user-generated content), including logos, text, design, and functionality, is owned by or licensed to CityShopping.us and protected under copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

9. Termination

We may, without notice and at our sole discretion:

  • Remove content
  • Suspend or delete your account
  • Restrict access to the platform

This may happen for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Repeated violations of our terms
  • Illegal or fraudulent activity
  • Abuse of the platform or other users

10. Disclaimers

CityShopping.us is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

  • Listings are accurate or current
  • The platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Any outcomes from using the platform

You use the site at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CityShopping.us and its affiliates, employees, directors, and agents shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from any user interaction or transaction

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (i) $100 or (ii) the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CityShopping.us, its employees, agents, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of the rights of any third party

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
